- Research and Development: Conduct in-depth research on emerging machine vision technologies, trends, and methodologies, with a particular focus on LIDAR, SLAM, IMU, ROS & 3D Space.
- Innovation Support: Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools that can enhance the company’s machine vision projects. Provide strategic insights and recommendations for integrating innovative solutions.
- Resource Provision: Source, compile, and manage a repository of technical resources, datasets, and tools to support the engineering team’s development activities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of research findings, methodologies, and experimental results. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders and team members on a regular basis.
- Project Support: Assist in the conceptualization and development of project prototypes, ensuring that research insights are effectively integrated into practical applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field with a focus on machine vision, image processing, or robotics.
- Proven experience in research and development within the areas of LIDAR, SLAM, IMU, ROS, or related vision technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct independent research and present findings clearly.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics and vision systems, such as Python or C++.
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and their application in machine vision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a continuous drive to learn and apply new technologies in real-world applications.

Machine Vision Intern

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine vision algorithms using deep learning techniques such as YOLOv8 to improve automation processes.
- Utilize Python programming skills and OpenCV to integrate and control camera systems for real-time image capture and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions that integrate with existing systems and hardware.
- Conduct ongoing research and apply the latest techniques in deep learning and computer vision to keep our solutions at the cutting edge, including the implementation of YOLOv8 for object detection tasks.
- Optimize existing machine vision systems by improving their accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide detailed reports on system design, performance metrics, and project status.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine vision hardware and software during development and deployment phases.
- Participate in peer reviews to ensure high quality and standards in code and system design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in machine vision or a closely related field.
- Profound knowledge and hands-on experience in deep learning, specifically applied to image processing.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, with extensive experience using OpenCV for camera integration and image analysis.
- Strong understanding of image processing techniques, camera calibration, and geometric transformations.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and particularly YOLOv8.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively across different departments.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages or tools related to image processing or machine learning.
- Familiarity with industry standards and certifications in machine vision and automation.
